ABOUT THE ROLE.
As a manager, your role is central to your team's success. Your key responsibilities include;
- Leading team development and delegating tasks to supervisors.
- Plan and implement team training and engagement activities.
- Manage team productivity and provide capacity reporting.
- Upskill team members and oversee client file reviews.
- Continuously improve processes and manage client onboarding.
- Achieve revenue and profit targets, manage forecasting, and identify upsell opportunities.
- Assist with monthly client invoicing.
- Build relationships with other divisions and ensure efficient handling of inquiries.
- Foster strong client relationships through exceptional service and proactive communication.
- Address client complaints promptly and work towards resolution.
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE.
- 3+ years experience in a team leadership position of 3+ people
- 3+ years experience in a senior bookkeeper or senior finance role
- Experience in an accounting firm or professional services industry will be highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Sound time management and organisational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Xero Advisor Accreditation would be an advantage
