As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for an experienced Business Services Manager to take on a leadership role within their Accounting, Tax & Advisory division.

About the Role

This leadership role will see you managing client relationships, overseeing a team of accountants, and driving business growth. Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role in delivering strategic tax and business advisory services to a portfolio of SME clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Advisory: Provide expert business and taxation advice while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand the client base and strengthen existing relationships.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work alongside financial specialists to provide comprehensive advisory solutions.
  • Workflow & Compliance Management: Oversee job planning, review work, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Public Practice, including at least 2 years leading a team.
  • CA/CPA qualified (additional certifications such as CFP are advantageous).
  • Strong expertise in taxation, compliance, and business advisory services.
  • Proven experience managing team workflows, budgets, and performance targets.
  • High emotional intelligence and excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using Xero and Xero Add-Ons; familiarity with G-Suite is a plus.
