About the Role:
This is a 3-6 month temporary contract where you'll lead and support the implementation of a new payroll system. You'll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure a smooth transition to a centralised payroll platform-focused on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Duties:

  • Drive the implementation of a payroll system across multiple business units
  • Conduct process mapping, system testing, and user training
  • Work with key stakeholders in HR, Finance, and IT to ensure successful delivery
  • Ensure compliance with Australian legislation and relevant enterprise agreements
  • Create documentation, SOPs, and change management communications
  • Contribute to payroll process improvement and automation initiatives

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in payroll implementations
  • Experience across large system such as ADP, Chris21, SAP, Ascender, Workday
  • Deep understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and EAs
  • Experience in large, complex, or multi-entity environments
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
