About the Role
This Payroll Team Lead position is an excellent opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities within a large, supportive team. You will manage a team of Payroll Officers while overseeing end-to-end payroll processing. This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll expertise who is passionate about career growth and leadership.
Duties:
- Perform End to End Payroll processing
- Handle leave calculations, long service, maternity, and parental leave
- Interpret complex EBA's and Awards
- Demonstrate high-volume payroll processing
- Utilize strong payroll system knowledge
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee Super & Tax calculations
- Manage terminations and redundancies
- Address all payroll-related queries
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a large volume, complex payroll environment
- Experience with PayGlobal is desirable
- Full-function payroll experience
- Prior leadership experience is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of superannuation & payroll tax
- Exceptional communication skills with stakeholders
- In-depth understanding of EBA's & Awards
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Proven ability to work under pressure
