About the Role:

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join the team and contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the business. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in analysing credit data, managing reporting processes, and providing valuable insights to senior leadership.

Duties:

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of detailed credit reports, including aging reports, credit risk analysis, and overall financial data to identify key trends.
  • Use Power BI and other tools to analyse large datasets, visualising trends and providing actionable insights for senior management.
  • Develop, review, and maintain credit reporting systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to senior management on credit performance, including analysis of delinquent accounts and forecasting credit risk.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of credit risk assessments and recommendations for new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and refine credit policies, ensuring effective credit control while fostering positive relationships with customers.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting projects, and process improvement initiatives as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in credit analysis, accounts receivable, and collections with a strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
  • Proven experience working with Power BI to develop and streamline reporting dashboards and data analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse complex datasets and identify key trends and anomalies.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in reporting and data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to senior leadership.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous process improvement.
