About the Role
Utilising your strong payroll knowledge, within various sectors and reporting into a highly supportive Payroll Manager, this role will enable you to carry out the following:
- Oversee and work with the team on the full end to end payroll cycles, efficiently and in a timely manner
- Work closely with the Payroll Manager to support the team and exciting projects on the horizon
- Perform remediation tasks as and when required
- Go through backpayments and reconcile as and when
- Strong understanding of complex EBA and Awards
- Perform balancing the payruns
- Get stuck into some manual calculations around Super and Tax and backpayments
- Liaison with external stakeholders and third-party providers
- Answer payroll queries when necessary
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with the above role responsibiities
- Strong experience and understanding of processing end to end payroll
- Experience in payroll data remediation, backpayments in particular around Super and Tax
- Experience across large ERP systems such as ADP is desired
- Ability to make manual calculations
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to deal with high pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Strong processing of high-volume end to end payroll experience
- Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
